Research by Anglia Ruskin University in the UK shows that green spaces have a powerful effect on promoting positive body image. And you don’t even have to go outdoors to reap the benefits as any exposure to natural environments—even photographs—promotes respect for the body and a rejection of unrealistic body ideals.
