American illustrator Valerie McKeehan has been creating the hand-lettered quotes for our Zeitgeist interviews in Flow Magazine for more than two years now. We’re big fans of her beautiful work and always look forward to seeing what she’ll deliver when we’re preparing each issue.
Valerie likes to use a real chalkboard and good, old-fashioned, dusty chalk when she’s working, and she says that the imperfect nature of hand-lettered type (compared to computer fonts) “give the quotes personality and charm”.
