Tea tales

Ruby Silvious

Instead of throwing her used-up tea bags in the trash, artist Ruby Silvious uses hers as a canvas to create mini works of art that record her impression of a daily moment.

The result is a collection of evocative, whimsical paintings, prints and collages – some of which have been compiled in her book, 363 Days of Tea: A Visual Journal on Used Tea Bags – as well as tea-drinking-and-painting travels around the world. Below, we posted some of the beautiful artworks.
