Visitors from Japan!

When we received an e-mail from Japan asking if they could make a book about Flow, we naturally didn’t protest. Quite the contrary, we felt honored, especially when we heard that Flow is rather popular in Japan. And so we have been working together with the friendly and inspiring designer Miho and editor Aquico from Tokyo – via e-mail and Google translator – for months.

It’s really cool to see our articles in Japanese characters, and even more fun when we got to meet Miho on her ‘European tour’ when she also dropped by our offices in Hoofddorp. Not only because of the fabulous candy she brought from Japan, we hasten to add. Soon we will be visiting Tokyo when Miho will be giving a presentation on Flow at the Design Days. We’ve decided to bring them stroopwafels (for those who don’t know yet: Dutch caramel waffle cookies!).
